Mixing Rate for SMT1 Engine Gearbox Flushing Additive
Add to the hot oil at 7% to 10% the volume of oil, (Refer to your Manufacturers Hand Book) for Volumes. Add SMT1 to HOT Engine Gearbox old oil prior to oil change and then idle the engine or Gearbox for approximately 20 minutes before draining the oil to achieve a clean compartment in order to minimise sludge and contaminants prior to adding the new oil.
Mixing Rates for SMT2:
Best add SMT2 to new oil at oil changes for Diesel, Petrol, LPG Engines, Manual Gearboxes, Transfer Cases, Differentials and Reduction Boxes
Initial treatment: add 7% to 10%
Change the oil as per Manufacturer’s recommendations (Refer to your Manufacturers Hand Book) thereafter: add half the original dose e.g. 3.5% to 5%
Add SMT2 to fluids for Automatic Transmissions, Power Steering, Rack and Pinion and Hydraulics:
Initial treatment: add 2.5%
Change the oil as per Manufacturer’s recommendations (Refer to your Manufacturers Hand Book) thereafter: add half the original dose e.g. 1.25%
Caution:
We do not recommend the use SMT2 in any wet brake or wet clutch application
Mixing Rates for SMT3
SMT3 Universal Fuel Treatment and Upper CylinderLubrication injector cleaner and Diesel Bug killer for Petrol and Diesel Engines
Initial Shock Dose: Add SMT3 at 1mm per Litre of fuel for the full tank (Refer to your Manufacturers Hand Book) e.g 70 litre capacity of fuel add 70mm SMT3
Maintenance Dose: Add SMT3 at 0.5 mm per Litre to additional fuel added to tank thereafter e.g. if you’re going to add 50 litres of fuel to fill your tank add 25mm of SMT3
N.B. FYI…. you can add SMT3 prior to filling the tank for a good mix
